My Aunt who is a novice computer user, got a virus which has corrupted
portions of her win98 operating system. She does not have a boot disk. nor
CDROM funtionability. I live 3 hours from her, so I cannot do "hands on".
Her WIN.INF files are missing so she cannot download a boot disk from her
hard drive. When I tried to email the boot disk files to her, a firewall or
her Int. provider is blocking those attachements. She still has Internet
access and her floppy drive is working. Is there a direct link out there
where she can download a WIN98 boot disk? If so, could someone let me know
the exact address so I can have her download the data to her floppy disk.
Thank you in advance for your help.

1. Identify exactly which OS she will be installing.
2. Download the right boot disk EXE file from www.bootdisk.com
3. Create the boot disk, done by putting a blank floppy into
the drive and EXEcuting the downloaded file.
4. Before reinstallation, it would be prudent to FDISK the
hard drive from scratch (first remove all drives, then create
a new Primary DOS drive, then reboot and FORMAT C:)
5. For advice on installation, consult
