2,000 dollar budget ideas?

hello i am new here and i have to say that these foums have been very helpful... anyway.... I am building a new computer soon and i have about a 2,000 dollar budget.
Few points
1. I do not know how to oc but if someone knows how to please teach me
2. This is including a montior, i will probaly buy like a 250 $ benq or something like that
3. This will be for gaming and some surfing the web and word documents
4. I know that their has been some problems with dual cores but if people know how to fix them.. please tell me
