wmplayer9 error msg80040154

when I try to watch a movie trailer or video I recieve error message 80040154
: I assume this is a registry problem , because right before the error
message displays I get a no registry page. This however doesn't happen at
sites though like movie clips at nasa's websites? I'm running win98se. media
player9 . Please help!!
