A couple years ago you could buy a Tigers' ticket for $10-$12 and sit anywhere in the Stadium.

Yesterday, I was asked if I wanted to buy a ticket for game 6 or 7.. for no less than $200 but chances are the price would be higher.

Its about time Detroit made some money...

I'm happy they didn't let the White Sox back into the post-season party...

Now if only we could keep them damn Yankees and Cardinals out...

I'd be thrilled if the Yanks didn't make the playoffs... I'm happy that they are gone after round 1...

Amen to that. Now if the Tigers and Cardinals can get into the Series, ESPN will have to talk about something other than East and West Coasts Teams. Of course the lead stories will still be about whether A Rod folds or crumples his toilet paper and how it affects his play and what suppliements Barry Bonds is unknowingly taking.

Talk on the radio this morning.. after Tigers won. They're trying to figure out how the crowd can intimidate Oakand.. but.. oakland is a happy-go-lucky group and no one has any dirt on them.

They used to chant "Steroids" when certain players would be up to bat and other things. Somewhat entertaining. ;)

The figure the main advantage is when Oakland comes to Detroit.. the weather difference gives the Tigers are huge advantage.

Be nice to the Cubs, as an Indians fan it's the only Team I can look down on. :)

I am a Mets fan...Yet I hold the cubbies & their fans in the highest reguards...C'mon ya' gotta' love the "Throw the bad guys homers back thing"
I would consider it a crime if I don't get to see post season games played at Wrigley in my lifetime...By far the Coolest stadium in the Majors. :D

I also hope to see the Cubs in a World Series figuring it could add another 75 to 100 years to my life :)

I love Wrigley Field, there's nothing like it (not that I've been to many parks).

Although I will say I've been to a couple games in Milwaukee, the new Miller Park is NICE!!!

It's not cool like Wrigley, but pretty much everything is nicer... Bathrooms, parking, food, seats, etc...

That said, if I had to pick one, I'm still going to Wrigley... No contest...

Tied with Fenway for first. Get it right. There's something special about a stadium
with seats behind poles.

It was great to see. Hope they can play this well for Series. Now if St Loiuse can win out. Have a Midwest Series wth Detroit taking it all. :D

Nope no contest at all...Especialy since Boston tore the Old Fenway down & tried to Re-create it...Almost like trying to compare a 1923 Dusenberg & a 1935 MG replicar built on a VW frame....Not the same at all..

Reply to AilingBlackLab

No tied with anything crap. You gotta pick one... I pick Wrigley. I'm sure Fenway is hella cool, and I really want to go, but Wrigley tops my list... Unfortunately, as I've never been anywhere else ('cept Miller park, SUPER NICE!), Wrigley will always be #1 in my book.

Cardinals take it in the Pujols!

Piss on the red birds, I'm rootin for the Mets. I don't need another reason for St Louis to say they are better than us...

Is there any team that doesn't say they're beter than the Cubs? :D Well maybe Kansas City. Probably doesn't matter anyway if Detroit keeps playing the way they are

Reply to g-paw

The Mets rememberd what those bats were for....& that they Had the most wins in the majors for a reason that had nothing to do with starting pitching...

BTW Prozac ? Where the hell are those Twins?? I can't find them on the post season scedual any where ?? :P
