Please help. I have window 98se with media player 9. I purchased music on
MSN and downloaded it into "My Music" folder in the documents folder. The
music is all there and I can play it on my computer. I am trying to place a
blank cd rom in and download it onto the cd. I don't know how to do this and
am not getting any instruction. Do you know where I can look to learn how to
do this? I am sure it is easy.

Do you have a CD-RW drive, or just a CD-ROM drive? If you have a CD-RW (CD writer),
do you have installed software to burn onto a CD?

Don't laugh, but I only have a CD rom drive. I do not have any special
software to burn the cd's. What is the software I need?

A CD-ROM drive is only used for reading from the CD an executing any code
written on the CD thru the computers processor. You can not copy or burn
anything to a disk in a CD-ROM drive.
If you want to burn CD's you need to get a CD-RW drive or DVD/CD-RW drive,
most of which come with burning software.
