A friend has let me borrow FS2002 and I went and bought a new joystick
- USB Logitech Wingman Force 3D

When I install it I have to disable my antivirus for the install to
work. I insatlled the game and it loaded no problems but when I fly
now after the video intros my joystick becomes all erratic and has a
mind of it's own! the plane will throttle up by itself and when in the
air I lose all control of my joysick, it pitches up and nose dives I
can't control it and the joystick itself moves back and forwrds
erratically and I can't play the game.

I have updated to the latest Directx 9.0

Update the software for the joystick from logitech, even downloaded a
profile from logitech for FS2002

Performed Windows Update.

I'm at a loss as to how to correct this

Can anybody help???
