Hi,
I'm using a third party data entry program and the font size on the buttons
have changed. I spoke to the program supplier and they said the font on the
buttons is set by windows and I would need to change it in windows. I have
looked in "Display Properties" and "Appearance" windows and can't find any
setting to change the button or font size.
Has anyone had simular experiance?

What is the name of the app? Perhaps others use it and can help.
Is this the only application it happens in or does it happen in others? If
only in this app then changing a font via Windows may affect other apps.
Why doesn't the app have the option to change fonts? Doesn't it have
toolbars?
Does the application have a .ini file in it's folder? If so, have a look in
it to see if there are any font settings. Before making any changes in the
..ini I highly suggest creating a copy of it first and changing the extension
to ._n_ . This way if something goes amiss you can rename the copy to the
original after renaming the corrupted original to other than .ini.
If you're comfortable working in the registry you can look up the app and
make changes there. Again I highly suggest making sure you have a new/recent
backup of the registry or at the very least the key you plan to edit.

There's nothing specific for buttons, so you may have to experiment to find
exactly which settings the programmers have used. Try each of the settings
that has a font size, such as Menu or even Tooltip.
The font might be autosizing to the available space, so also try some of the
more general size settings, such as Caption buttons.
