System Beep...odd

computer is fully functional. But 2 times i have turned it on and got the system speaker to beep loudly alternatly from 2 different frequencies. As soon as i type my password in for xp pro, all gone. Whats up with this.?

Does it sound like a beep code? If it is beeping more than two times in a row then your computer may be trying to give an error message? Can you tell me more information about the problem?

yeah it beeped continuously until i typed my password into windows. So i unhooked the speaker. lol. no more noise.
