I was wondering if there is a way to see if you even have CnQ installed/on and how would I get into Bios to disable it ?

I have an EVGA board. And how would I check the freqencey?

Let windows idle and right click on my computer and if your cpu is @ 1ghz or 800mhz then C&Q is enabled. I have recently started using it again and its great.

What`s The Point In Using Cool`n`Queit ? I Disabled It Because I Have A OverClocked CPU ...

All Athlon64, Opteron, Atlhon64 X2 and Athlon64-FX are supporting CNQ.
There are Semprons s754 that are supporting CNQ. I am not sure, but I think all models above 2800+ and Rev E3 are supporting CNQ.
You don't need the BIOS to disable it. Uninstall the CNQ driver and will be dissabled.

My cpu is overclocked and C&Q works great. It varies between 1.04ghz idle, 1.89ghz on medium load, and 2.52ghz on full load.

My asrock crap out with cnq if I go higher than 260 HTT and decided to leave it like that anyway, it gives me 2.3 GHz from my 3000+ and stock cooling.
