Why would someone want brightly colored pieces of rounded plastic all over their case ? Might as well use your kid brother's toy robots to mod your current case...

IMO, Alienware and those Vinto cases are just nasty looking. Why waste money on a flashy case when it doesnt make your computer any faster? Kind of like putting that big spoiler on your car that does nothing but add extra weight...

Well the question was regarding a "girl's" taste so I figured that meant a young girl, not a young woman.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Also not meaning to hijack this guy's thread; I was searching for a case suitable for my wife's tastes, something perhaps more feminine. All I see everywhere are car grilles, headlights, and robotic crap. Cases of that type look like they came out of the dollar store. I might just have to use a little imagination and do it myself. I'd rather make it easier on myself and get something that has been done professionally instead.

I asked my fiancée for input and she pointed the Lian-Li PC-V1000 as being one of the slickest cases.
