I am trying to finish cleaning up computer. There is a "nati.exe" that is
in the C:Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp and in the \Disabled Startup
Items. I cannot seem to delete it. I send it to Recycle and then right
click and delete but it keeps coming back. I also went into Safe Mode to do
this but had no luck. I did a Find and only occurences were the two in the
Start Menu, etc. listed above.

Well... I Googled that name, with un-moderated results, I got one hit and
you surely don't want that site. Let's just say that it didn't have anything
to do with computers or running processes. So, chances are that you have
some sort of malware on your computer. It could be virus, could be trojan,
could be spyware, could be adware, or it could be a combination of any of
those. Here's my generic canned answer for that...
Use the correct version for your operating system.
These may not repair your problem but they're the best resources to start
with. More help can be provided if they don't take care of the problem I'm
sure. In all the above cases pick one from each category except the spyware
in that case download them both. Install them, update to the newest
definitions, reboot to safe mode, scan with them, and delete any of the
malware found. I've found that it's best not to be picky when it's telling
there's malware on the system and to just let it delete the files that it
finds though in all cases you COULD check manually from a search site such
as MSN or Google for more information once you know the specifics.

This is typical of malware. DELete it at once in DOS
(which ignores Windows restrictions) and reboot,
then repeat the search in case there is a second
copy. Do this before you bother about trying to
identify the malware, remove bogus file calls etc.

Thank you but I still need help please. I can delete it in DOS. I will then
do a search and no occurences are found. But when I reboot, it crops up
again. Something else must be recreating it, right? Also I noticed some
..dll's that I unregistered and deleted are back.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks,
Susan
