What would be the proper way to go back to 6.3, I updated to 6.4 without knowing it was bad. Do I need some kind of driver cleaner??? Where would I get it and does it work??

I have the 6.3 catalyst drivers, I just need to get rid of 6.4 correctly first.

Download Driver Cleaner Pro from driverheaven.net. Follow the instructions explicitly. You'll need to run Driver Cleaner after you uninstall your drivers and reboot into safe mode (F8 after your initial BIOS screen but before the Windows loading screen). Make sure that you run the .cab cleaner as well (it's a function of Driver Cleaner).

How do you uninstall the drivers... I see no entry in the control panel to remove the catalyst drivers... only the catalyst control center??? Is that what I want.

I've been away for about a week. What's bad about 6.4?

I had several issues with the X1800XT and catalyst 6.4 drivers. Removing everything from ATI control panel and then I rebooted into safe mode, ran driver and cab cleaner and then booted into windows and installed catalyst 6.3. From there on 99% of my issues went away.

I still have one more with some videos polarizing, weird thing is that if I go to another site that has the exact same video the effect goes away. Dunno???

Try the Omega Drivers, find the ones based on 6.3.
Also need to download the WDM Integrated Driver from Ati.
