Pre-built Workstation. I don’t want to be the 24/7-customer service for my work PC. I don’t want to be responsible if it breaks or needs a part, I’m not paying for this one. Need it for CAD. After 3years i would like to upgrade.

No preference AMD/Intel
No Preference ATI/Nvidia

Can you please post links to prebuilt workstations? Dell, Sun, are these the only ones?

Should'nt be that hard to find in any metropolitan area, how much is your budget and do you have any specific requirements regarding the number of CPUs, HDD size & memory ?

Well Bigger is better, Im not paying for it. :p  HD can be small, but would like a SATA 10k 74gb Raptor would be fine. Most of our data is on external HD and FTP sites. 1 CPU is fine. It is for Civil Engineering/Surveying/Planning not 3d Max. 2G of Ram would be minimum, dont know if I need more.

I would recommend an Opteron64 workstation either S939, S940, AM2 or the new Socket F.
