Hi,

I recently purchased a new monitor (Eizo CE240W LCD) to replacing a older CRT. I currently have a very old KVM switch for work and home PCs (Linksys Proconnect) that is not DVI or USB capable.

I am looking to get a new KVM that supports USB and DVI but the resolutions and refresh rates that they support are all below what the new monitor wants to run at (1920 x 1200 at 31 – 76 kHz, 59 – 61 Hz (VGA Text: 69 – 71 Hz).

Can anyone recommend a KVM that will support the higher resolution and high refresh rates?

Thanks for your help in advance,

John

Youch I didnt even know they made DVI and USB capable KVM switches lol I guess thats the price I paid for using plain old VGA and PS2 with mine ? (probably a bit cheaper too ?) I got a 4 port deal for like 30$ online but it doesnt do USB and DVI :( Best advice I can give is to check all the online shops.

www.cdw.com
www.newegg.com
www.tigerdirect.com
www.officedepot.com

one of those should have what you want if they dont then it probably doesnt exist yet :) (I say yet becouse with everyone going LCD and USB they will have to make them !)
