Hi
I finally managed to get an Ipod Mini working with W98, transferring
the music files using the free version of Real Player and everything
seemed to be fine. I had been using the Windows eject command to
dismount the Ipod until I tried using Real Players eject device when
things seemed to start taking a turn for the worse. Real Players eject
device did not dismount the Ipod cleanly and I was unable to then use
the Windows eject command either, I eventually had to unplug the Ipod
and reboot the PC. I was able to transfer another music file to the
Ipod after this but after another Windows eject I could not get the PC
to recognize the Ipod at all. The PC has two USB ports and the PC will
not recognize the Ipod at all using either port. Has anyone any ideas
what may be wrong here and any suggestions on how this can be
resolved?
Thanks for any advice.
Johno
