Memory Help Please

I just got new Ram (OCZ 1Gx2 2-3-2-5) and am overclocking my system.

Athlon X2 4400+

I want to try going up to 2.4GHz and even try 2.6GHz.

What should I set the TCL, Trcd, TRAS, and TRP to for each overclocked setting?

If I'm overclocking I want to raise the TRCD, TRAS and TRP right?

My Mobo only lets me put my RAM voltage at 2.85V.... will that be ok? I mean of course try and see but just wondering. Also thank you for the fast response, these forums rock.

Also would it be good to lower the MHz of the RAM to 333 because my CPU and RAM bus are shared so as I raise the CPU speed so does the Ram?

The Foxconn 6150K8MA-8EKRS which is not a great over clocker. But I had it stable at 2.4GHz overclock on cheapo RAM. Also is lowering the MHZ of the RAM help to 333?

Well I tried to run it at 2.6GHz but with no luck. It would reset when loading windows.

I can't go higher on voltage for the CPU then 1.4V it looks like. I may have been looking at the wrong setting but thats what it looked like.

Yeah the overclocking is not that important to me and I like this motherboard because I can sell it off for a good price to some business man looking for a good dual core for a good price and upgrade my system later. But thank you for all the help this was very useful.

WOO GOT IT!!!

I set the RAM to your Timings, 3-4-3-7 1T and set the CPU to 2.6GHz.

What I saw was that when I ran Sandra I saw that the CPU was at a 1.3 volts for each core. So In the BIOS I set the VCore to 1.4V and windows booted!

Now I will run Prime95 and other memory tests to see if things work out. Also Oblivion, one of the best testing programs.

The CPU Temp also did not rise at all, not one bit. Nice!

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ at 2.6GHz 29c* -- no load
2GB OCZ at 3-4-3-7 1T
ATI Radeon x1900xtx 669MHz/787MHz

Stable so far.
