TweakUI screwed up my system

Hi,
for some reason I can not mark the "View - as Web Page" option. When I try
to mark it nothing happens.
In "Display Properties - Web" I marked "View my Active Desktop as web page",
and also in "Start - Settings - Active Desktop" I marked "View as Web Page".
Please help.

I have a check mark next to: "Active Desktop enabled"
"Allow changes to Active Desktop" and "IE4 enabled".
Don't have the option "allow active desktop to be turned on/off".

OK, you are using an older version of TweakUI....either the Win95 version, or the
version that came with the original Win98 CD (it was removed from the Win98SE CD).

Do this --

Click Start>Run, type:

REGSVR32 THUMBVW.DLL and click OK.

Click Start>Run, type:

REGSVR32 WEBVW.DLL and click OK.

When you get this straightened out, uninstall TweakUI through Add\Remove Programs,
then install the latest version:

Glad that worked for you. The newer version is a bit better than the old ones,
IMO....but I recommend, on the IE tab, that you leave the Active Desktop and Shell
Enhancements boxes checked, unless you want a repeat of your recent problem. Also,
note that the Shortcut Arrows tweaks no longer work, due to a side effect of a
Windows update.
