Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe Mobo Raid 0 Setup

I have 3 sata hdds, 2 of which I would like to use to create a raid0 setup. I've looked through the manual for the mobo and I should be ok configuring the drives.

However, I'm not sure how they should be connected to the mobo. There are 4 sata connections on the motherboard, but also a 'silicon image sata raid connector'.

Is it just a matter of plugging the 3 hdds into the normal connections and configuring the raid0 setup in the bios or does one of the hdds need to be connected to the silicon image sata raid connector'?
