No USB functions after latest windows 7 update.

Hello,
All USB ports on my computer turn off upon the launching of Windaows 7. I have functionality in the DOS mode, however. My KB and mouse are USB, so when windows launches I lose my interface to teh computer. I do not know what to do.

Hi, have you tried using a ps/2 keyboard/mouse or using usb-ps/2 adaptors to get into windows so you can do a system restore to undo the update?

Also. if you have a windows 7 disc or windows 7 boot disc you can get into the 'repair' menu of the disc and run a system restore through that. which you should be able to do as you can use the keyboard in bios, which makes it sound like a driver issue.
