Enermax Liberty connection to PCI Express x 16 graphics card

I wnat to be sure about this, and need some information. I have an Enermax Liberty 500W psu that needs to be connected to a PCI Express x 16 graphics card. Should I connect the two using the cable that has the red connectors at either end?
