Could be one of a couple of things.
It could be an electronically "stuck" menu key on the keyboard (if you have one).
The key has a picture of a menu box with a mouse pointer arrow on it, if you have
that key on the laptop. If found, try tapping it a few times to "un-stick" it.
Also, with the laptop off, cleaning the keyboard with a spray can of air may help.
The other thing is that it could be a fault of the mouse button. if you are using
an external mouse, try replacing it. If you are using the built-in buttons on the
laptop, there may be a way to clean them by dismantling the mechanism while the
machine is off. I don't know that model well enough to give you more details.
