Anyone got any experience with the Iiyama flat panels?
I'm looking at going dual-head with either the AS4332UT or the AS4315UT models.
Both models (I've yet to see them to check colour accuracy and sharpness) sport 35ms and 25ms response respectively and 1280x1024. The 4332 has dual DVI-I and (S)Video connectors, 4315 DVI-I and Anologue.
Price-wise I can get these for c. $750 and $590 for the 4332 and 4315. Seems like a good price - the only price I could find in the US for the 4315 was $815, so I'm saving over 25% on that model.
Right now it seems that they have good technology and price in comparison to many other vendors.
Does anyone have any experience or feedback that they could share with me? It seems to me that a pair of $590 panels with good response compare favourably to a 21" or 22" high end CRT and probably give ~ 26% more real esate than a typical 1600x1200 on that CRT.
Iiyama also do a higher end AU4831DT with 30ms response and 1600x1200 which is tempting, but again I get 26% more real estate from 2 panels (plus flexibility with multiple PCs) for about the same price or cheaper. The 4831 is about $1840 - which is still a great price.
