After several help from members on this forum, i decided to go with the
i) Intel Pentium 4, 3.40Ghz 550 Processor
ii) motherboard - Intel Desktop Board D915EV
since it was $200 Canadian for both..
now the only problem is.. i want to overclock it, what type of power supply/case/cooling fan would i need? I heard several people saying that a good cooling fan is needed for the pentium 4 series as well as power supply.. The thing is, I don't want to spend all that much on it but I also want it to last for a long time. Thanks everyone. I don't know if I need to add more information or not but I'm thinking of getting 1gb of ram and a video card later on. Thank you.

befor eu can OC i believe u will ned a beter mobo, an intel mobo prolly wont allow for OCing, im not sure sinc eim not an intel person

2nd u'd be better off with an AMD CPU if ur overclocking (opteron series) since they are cheaper and run cooler

3rd case: Gigabyte 3d Aurora
