Mouse skips, computer freezes up repeatedly when accessing wifi...

Hey guys, running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit here. I don't know if this is due to my wifi adapter or the connection or what. I use a wireless connection here, provided by the place we live, the signal is very weak on my desktop. At times when connect to it, it doesn't even load a webpage, but what happens is my mouse skips across the screen, buzzing comes outta my speakers just as the mouse skips, it's like having interference somehow and I just don't get how connecting to the wifi does this, the wifi is really weak, I don't even know why I can't connect, I mean the signal is there, I can connect, but it doesn't load a webpage.

sounds like you have a wireless mouse with a 2.4ghz set thats using the same channel as your regular wi-fi.

Goto your router and try setting it for a lower channel like 1-5 and see if that helps.

Also try getting updated drivers for your wifi card in the pc.

Then its your whole computer that temp locks up, look at the cpu usage and see if anything obvious spikes up?

Try updating the wifi card drivers for a fix.

I am downloading wifi drivers now. It only does this when accessing the network so yeah hmm I will try it right now.

Ok I downloaded 2 drivers, both RAR packages

If I extract them, the folder names are the same so it overwrites I believe

So is there a folder I place the extracted folder to or what

Did you get a fix for this?
