After re/overinstalling, be sure to check-in at Windows Update. You'll need
all post-IE6 SP1 (and prolly Windows) updates again.
BTW that procedure originated with a longtime, now AWOL, poster to Win98
General known by many of us as "Bicycle Rob". It should not be used in any
OS other than Win98.
