Where in the Registry does it direct where 'links' in emails will go (which
browser will it use)?
I have both IE and FireFox.
After some corruption with FireFox (set as my default browser) after downloading
and installing some extensions, I received errors in FireFox and finally
uninstalled it.
When I reinstalled it I had more of the same.
Example:
"FIREFOX caused an invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 0000:00000013.

I again uninstalled FireFox.
I finally renamed my Mozilla folder in C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla, and
again installed FireFox, it worked.
I then copied my Bookmarks to the appropiate folder and all seemed OK.

I selected to make Mozilla my default browser, but links in email, etc still
opened in IE even though IE was not the default browser.

Finally, I made IE my default browser and then when I opened FireFox, it
informed me ,rightly so, that FireFox was not my default browser and I selected
to make it so.
Now all the links open in FireFox, just like before.

Was there some change to the Registry that made this happen?
If so, what is the key?
Thanks
