AMD stock heat sink/fan

I currently have an AMD X2 3800. I understand the other X2s have a different heat sink/fan system. I was wondering if the heat sink/fan on the other X2s are higher than the one on my 3800 ......... if I upgrade my processor and the upgrade's heat sink/fan is higher than my 3800 it may not fit in my micro case.

I have the one in the picture. I understand from that report all other X2s have the cooler with the pipes. I was wondering if the cooler with the pipes is higher than the stock on my X@ 3800.
