Hi

As a user of an Epson 9600 I've been keeping an eye open for info about
the replacements for the Stylus Pro 7600 and 9600.

The R1800 starts to make their technology look a tad dated particularly
if you want to do the odd glossy print -- I mostly do B/W on heavy art
papers (don't get me wrong, I love using the 9600 :-)

Anyone care to hazard a guess as to when the new Hi-gloss inks come to
wide format printing?

I've been putting any info I get sent on a page at
http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/epson9700.html

There is also the matter of guessing a replacement name ... perhaps 7800
and 9800 to reflect the '8' in the R800/R1800

but enough of this idle speculation... I'm sure I've got some real work
to do!

bye for now

Keith Cooper
