Canon PIXMA MP780 - fax/scan software

Hi,

I've recently bought this printer and absolutely love it apart from
one quite big niggle.

I previously owned an HP OfficeJet G85 which came with HP Director.
This allowed me to fax by printing to the fax driver and I could then
use Director to add a cover page or scan the pages in the ADF and send
these with the fax. I can't find any similiar software for the MP780.
I've tried WinFax and MightyFax but these are based around faxing with
a modem whereas I want to use my Mp780 as the fax. Surely other
software must exist???

Any tips???
