The error message you're seeing is usually caused by a network or hard drive
error, so if these documents are on a network I'd start looking at a
different network card, updated drivers, check for problems in the network
wiring or switches/hubs/routers, etc. If they're on a local drive you may
have hard drive problems, memory problems, or perhaps some other hardware
fault.

You must use the one in those articles, & just mention the hotfix(es)
desired & why you think it is for you. If you mention anything else,
they will seek to charge you for the call. Some have complained about
that process. If you run into trouble, hang up & try again for a more
understanding soul. I took neither of these nor any other that may be
offered, BUT I am no user of Networking.

RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only
intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it
only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

To resolve this problem, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to
obtain the hotfix. For a complete list of Microsoft Product Support
Services phone numbers and information about support costs, visit the
following Microsoft Web site:

Note In special cases, charges that are ordinarily incurred for support
calls may be canceled if a Microsoft Support Professional determines
that a specific update will resolve your problem. The usual support
costs will apply to additional support questions and issues that do not

fix should have the following file attributes or later:
