I am about to build a new PC. Only have the CTR from the old one.

Was thinking DFI+Opty and OC, but now I would like an option of a very "standard" & "simple" motherboard, that I would not attempt to OC and not use SLI and NO RAID.

What chipset should I choose? Somthing that just works. No bells and whistles needed.

If the mobo is fanless that is a big plus.

Any suggestions ?

I will use the PC for surffing and games.

I think I want a AMD with dual core. Either AMD64 3800+ or Opteron 165.
