bought this from a friend with aopen ax4b 1.7 pentium 4 for the kids.. prob im getting is when i hooked up the hard drive 40 gig. and cd drive and started the cpu is doesnt detect the ide drives it stays on the boot screen forever. now the hd did have xp on it from the old cpu but ive got it to boot from cd to reinstall xp cause i know the previouse install wont work. when i try to get to setting from that screen it wont go eaither. i have to unplug all drives and restart to get to it. there is a standby light flashing on the board does that mean anything. please help i dont want the kids on my cpu lol. oh yea the cd rom light stays on the whole time and wont eject during all this.
