I am running Windows 98 on a dell Inspiron 3700 and for some reson the screen
resolution has changed. So instead of the screen tking up all the display It
only has a small rectangle in the middle could anybody help?

Right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose Properties / Settings then
select a different screen area.

If you want the current resolution but you want it to fill the whole screen
you will need to check with Dell to find whether there's an option (possibly
in BIOS setup) to allow this.

Could be as Richards says. Could be the monitor is about to blow, as TWO
of mine have done. I am very pleased with my new Envision flat monitor
EN5400e, at Staples for 239.98 plus tax. Looks better here than it did
in the store, & 15" is just fine.
