what should i do?

i am gettin ready to upgrade my computer but i dont know what i really want in it i want it toplay games real good and do music good too! i built my current computer now and i just want to upgrade it now before vista comes out since im beta testing it now and it need the upgrade i see what people have and i want to upgrade to:
Abit at8 32x mb
Amd Opteron 146 (2.0 g)
Crosair 2gb pc 3200 ram
Radeon x1600 pro 512mb
From:
Asus k8v-x se
Amd 64 bit Athlon 3000
Elixr 1gb pc 3200 ram
Pny geforce 5200 128mb
What kind of stuff should i get for my new computer im not rich so i cant pay a whole lot but i want to get the most bang for my buck and i might consider overclocking my new system with the opteron if i choose it

you could save cash by just buying a OC board like DFI lanparty ultra D just adding a gig of the same ram instead of buying a whole new set and buying a new video card. That 3000 is fine at stock and if you OC...it will be even better

Huh? You have a Opteron 146 down, which is a 939 cpu? Soooo, why would you need 754?

if you are not going to OC dont get that opteron...Get the 3200 and save yourself some cash
