Here it is: http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=g [...] rticID=419

I've always enjoyed Madshrimps thorough reviews. This one helped me narrow down my decision to 2 choices, the Tuniq Tower and the Scythe Mine. I can get the Tuniq for about $55 shipped and the Mine for about $45 shipped. I have one major question about the Tuniq Tower, though. It says on their site that it supports socket 478, though, under the application section it says supports P4 3.6ghz and higher. Here's the link: http://www.tuniq.com.tw/Cooler%20Info/Tower-120.htm

I only have a 2.6 ghz Northwood. Even though it says it supports socket 478, does it mean that it won't accomodate my particular CPU?

If you check out the manual (huge pic link) it apparently has the P4 478 bracket instructions on the second page, K8 on the third and socket T 775 on the last, so I think you're covered with the tuniq. Got my vote as well, since I was looking at that for a D805 oc build...

if it supports socket 478, it supports all CPU's under that speed.

also northwoods have the rention bracket easy installation (usually)

i would recommend the zalman 7000-Cu, the tuniq tower is huge.

Then why does it say "supports P4 3.6 and above" under the application section of specs?

Reply to Ashrym

probably meant P4 3.6 and below.

there isnt much of a market for P4's 3.6 and above in general.

it'll fit dont worry, now will it fit ur case? its a few inches tall.

also research and find out of a P4 3.6 socket 478 has the same retention bracket as the other socket 478 if so it should fit

There is no P4 3.6 S478 :?

I personally would get the Scythe Ninja. But since you are limiting your choices to the Turniq Tower and the Scythe Ninja, I would get the Turniq Tower based on the results.

just make sure it can fit in your case since it is slightly bigger than the Ninja.
