What have I done??

Hi, I think I've done something stupid: I wanted to create a new private partition and used disk management tool in Windows 7 Home. I shrank the system partition (the only one with enough space), gave it a partition name, and when everything was finished ALL partitions were of the type Simple Volume, and windows takes ages to start.
Can I undo or fix this? Or do I have to re-format the hard drive and re install Windows?

did you defrag windows before and after doing that? windows is quite messy with it's NTFS file system.

Thanks a lot, I will try that. Do you mean that I should remove the partition that I created and add the size back to the partition that I took from?
I have heard of Partition Mag - would that help?
