Macromedia and Shockwave Win98

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion (More info?)

There are quite a lot of entries in the registry
under Macromedia and Shockwave.
Is it safe to delete? These are not part of
Win98 component?

Most likely NOT (which is also generally true, by the way)

How important to you is it if your computer still works ok afterwards? (If
it's important to you, don't do it).
