Is there a similar program to winipcfg for Windows XP like there is
for Win98?

It sure is a PITA to have to do things from the cmd prompt.

Yes - the Windows NT version. Get it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/existing/wntipcfg-o.asp.
I've used it before(when I used 2000). My brother has XP and it works.

Try "ipconfig",,,,,,
I think it is the xp equivalent.
