Okay, I decided to stretch the budget and get the DFI LANParty UT NF4 SLI-DR Expert mobo.
I see that it's power connectors are 24 pin and 8 pin.
My psu has 20 and 4 pin connectors.
I have seen in some reviews that you can use the 4 pin instead of the 8 pin.
Do I need a new psu for this mobo?

Thanks for you help.

What is your PSU?? is must have a 12 vlt rail. DFI RECOMMENDS that you have a 8-pin molex and a 24-pin power connector. I had the same problem, so I went to get a Antec NeoHe 550watt psu for $90.
There are 4-8 pin molex converters for $5 and a 20-24 pin power connector converter for about $15. My suggestion is that you get a new psu, dont return the mobo, you'll regret it, trust me. Yes it will make you spend more money than you should, but then it will be a better invstment to upgrade your system. Really get @ least a 500 watt psu. The mobo is a powerful one and is incredibley stable for OC, henc it need POWER, the more the better.
PLZ dont return the mobo, it is a wonderful piece of equipment. Just get a better psu, you wont be dissapointed

Don't worry - the mobo is a keeper.
Now to find a new psu...

Thanks for the help.

This list several recommended PSUs on which your "finicky" motherboard seems to run well. DFIs seem to be "finicky" when it comes to power supplies.

From reading many posts on dfi-street.com the OCZ PowerStream 520W seems to do very well.

You will need a new power supply.
