I was printing a few color pdf files on Canon S520 printer.
The printed text in the files was illegible.
It seems that S520 has a problem printing pdf file.
Could someone advise me how to correct this problem?

TIA. Satoshi

There should be no problem printing .pdf documents to this printer.
Please describe more what you mean by 'illegible'? Do you mean streaked,
random characters, ..........?
Are you sure the document itself was not corrupt?

The documents are like those you see Chinese article in English.
All kinds of stuffs were printed.
I feel that the printer may need a new driver but I could not find any new
driver for S520.

Some files I have to print from Ghost, the PDF viewer, not
the backup utility.

Chinese fonts suggest the difficulty is more probably
in your Adobe software, remedied by updating it.
(I needed to do this in order to display on screen a
document written wholly in English: But Chinese
fonts had been used in nonprinting instructions,
and were nececessary to display the English text.)

All are in English. When I tried Canon 950. No problem.
But with Canon S520, I was not able to print correctly.
I thought that the problem was some problem with print driver.
