I was wondering, for those of you who have this card, im going to either purchase the x1800xt or the x1900xt depending on my next paycheck, and i have a 450 Watt X-Clio PSU. It has Dual 12v Rails and has nothing but high praise from the places it was reviewed from. I dont know if it will be able to handle the system though.
AMD 3700+
ASRock AGP/PCI-E Mobo
2 GB OCZ Memory
160 GB SATA II HD
DVD-R
3 Case Fans
X1800/X1900

Personally i thought that the dual 12v's would be enough even though its a 450, but i was having second thoughts about it. I get paid Saturday and i dont want to buy this card and not be able to use it properly because of inadequate power. What do you guys think?

Looks to me like that PSU should supply more than enough power to your card as well as the rest of your system.

Check out this link for a more accurate guess.

Yes, the XClio 450BL can provide 384w at peak power on the 12v lines.

The X1800XT consumes about 105w of power.
The X1900XT consumes about 109w of power.
The X1900XT consumes about 121w of power.

The Athlon 64 3700+ should consume about 59w of power.

The GPU and CPU are the two most power hungry components. Keep them on separate 12v rails since there are two.

That leaves plenty of power left for your other components.

BTW, the XClio 450BL is a great PSU. I recommend it to people who don't want to spend money on the Seasonic 430w.
