I have a Compaq Armada 1700 and Windows 98 SE 4.10.2222A installed. My USB
port does not see the memory stick. When I checked the Device Manager. The
USB controller had '!' in front of the Intel 82371AB/EB PCI to USB Universal
Host controller. The Device Status had this message: The NTKERN.VXD device
loader(s) for this device coud not load the device driver (Code 2). To fix
this click update driver.
Where can I get the update driver and what version should it be to correct
the problem?

Go here, choose armada 1700, and follow the prompts. I use the drivers from
this site with W98SE and they work just fine.
