Whenever i play a game that involves steam, My computer will freeze or restart, or go to a black screen and give me this error:

It only happens with steam, so I am not sure if it is an overheating problem. When I play other games like battlefield 2, which im sure takes my cpu and video card usage than any steam game, and it runs fine. Any help? Btw, i have a Radeon X800 xt

Rather worthless tip from ATI....

Here are some much better suggestions:

Do as mdd suggested. Grab the latest drivers from ATI and the latest patches for your steam games and update your system BIOS if possible.

Also check your system temps and voltages.

What kind of PSU do you have?

What are your full system specs?

Good Luck :-D
