AS do I, except where they begin to contradict the safety or livelyhood of the state, or where they offer no gains

Agreed.

If Unions confined themselves to safety and the welfare of their workers then they would be well received by all.

Wow, some sanity out of the People's Republic of Wisconsin. Forcing people to join a union as a condition of employment is very wrong. I don't have a problem with unions if joining was voluntary, which is exactly what the Walker law and the court decision allows for.

Unions had a great purpose at one time but they do nothing but stifle the economy while benefiting a very few with less than the best intentions IMO. It should be voluntary in every state, and public unions should be illegal. Even the great Franklin Roosevelt said so.

I also support Unions, private unions. But I have grown to despise Public Unions. I feel like I want to wretch and my head is going to explode every time I hear a Public Union member, who's salaries and benefits are being paid for by local and State taxes, complain about pay or benefits. I'm glad they upheld Act 10.
