  1. Whichever you like, just make sure if you go SLI you have a compatible MOBO and your PSU is a monster. If I could do it all over again I prob wouldve just done one 7900 gtx, after all the hassles of SLI it's not worth it in my book.
  2. the 7900GTX or the x1900xtx is about 200 $ more than what I currently have...I have the a8n32sli deluxe from asus so sli workes...and a ASUS 360 W ...a AMD Athlon64 4000+ @ 2.8 GHz(280x10) on air...and 2x512 MB 426 MHz 2.0-3-3-5 1:1 one HDD and some neons...so I guess I'll be needing a better PSU even if I buy the 7900GT
  3. A 360W PSU ? 8O
OH , Man ... You Should Change It , No Matter What You Will Buy ... Single 7900GT or 2x 6800GT ... Single 7900GT Need At Least A 400Watt PSU !! Dual 6800GT Eat 550Watt PSU !! But For The Topic , I Say Go For A Single 7900GT , It Can Easily OutPerform SLI 6800GT Even In SLI Supported Game Like Call Of Duty 2
Just Make Sure You Don`t Use 360W PSU For It...
  4. ok thx...I'll change it...any sugestions ? witch ones are the best ?
  5. Here Is The Benchmark
See ? Call Of Duty 2 Supports SLI !! 8)
  6. 7900gt are extremely power efficient. They take much, much less than a 6800gt.

i saw you have an Leadtek® WinFast PX7800 GT...I wanna buy an ASUS...now do you think that it'll clock those frequencies ?

Yes, Why Not ? Asus Makes Very Nice Cards Out There ... But Hey I Have A 7800GT Not 7900GT , I Heard That 7900GT Series Is Much More OverClock`able Than 7800Series !!...
OK , If You Like ASUS I Think You Should Buy This
This Version Of ASUS Is OverClocked By Factory A LOT  !! (Memory Clock Is 1.45 From Standard 1.3)
  9. There is a 7900gt with a zalman vf900 pre-installed coming out by Inno3d. Screw ASUS.
  10. The Antec NeoHe 550watt psu, does a Superior job for providing efficient power the the components of your rig. I"d totally recommend it for SLI users, and power hungry PC's. He- High Efficiency, runs cool and quiet, despite only having a 80mm fan.
Something that the experts would recommend!!
  11. Asus have a few glitches with their 7900gt's. I would recommend the the EVGA of an XfX, both great performance and great warrenties, not to mention customer service
    Something the Sayans would recommend

If he can support a 6800gt, he can support a 7900gt.

holy crap what are you idle/load temps and what have you used to test stability?
  15. idle 60
full load 78 max 80 degrees after some many hours in games...
with case closed...tems drop about 10-15 degrees with case open...

I have this card for about 2 months...and I am not planing to let her celebrate the 3rd month in my possesion...

    stability....well let's see every new game and every 3dmark from 2001-2006 a coulpe of times...am3...so...satisfied ?

hm, you idle at 60 degrees and load 80 and you get 450/1200? I'm idling at 47 right now and I can't go any higher. DoD:S crashes at that. That's most of what I play, and since I get 70+ average FPS, I can't complain. I dunno, I'll try it and see what happens. That's really odd. I also thought the AC outperformed the Zalman, but it might be case flow.
  17. case flow my @$$...I only have the ASUS TA210 with a modified front 120 mm fan...and 2x 80 mm fan...I had overclocked it to 450/1200 on stock but it reached 90 degrees in full load with case open...

edit:also I have one of those socket fans...that blow air directly in the GPU fan
and the hot air is blown off the case by the ac silencer

  23. i have 2 7900 gt in sli, they work great. i oc them to 540 and 775. was no hassle and it did cost more than one gtx but it is still faster than one. default 3d 06 marks were 6275 with a 3800+ oc to 2766.had to buy a better power supply ended up getting the liberty 620 by enermax.
    good luck and cheers.
