I just wanted to say that this aircraft was one of my favorites despite some
naggie little warts that bugged me. Ground handling was weird, flight
dynamics made it something you had to be careful with while hand flying,
autopilot oscillated, some gauges didn't work quite right etc...
It's funny how little things can bug you and interfere with the overall
experience, sort of like a hang nail bugs you.
Version 2 cleans all that up and adds a kick ass analogue panel and a new
air ambulance interior. I would have given it four and a half stars in the
old version. The new one is a joy and gets a full 5 stars from me putting
it in the same class as Flight1's Bonanza (best GA ever made)and the RealAir
Spitfire.

It has become my favorite aircraft to fly in just a week..
One thing you forgot to mention about the plane is the absolutely
superb support in the Areoworx forum - virtually everything answered
in an hour or so by one of the team, with screenshots if needed, and
references to which pages in the manual to read for more info.

I plan on buying a King Air when I win the lottery, but for now I fly the
Aeroworx version, only things I dont like is it seems to taxi pretty fast
and its hard to slow it down on final, I could be doing something wrong
though

That's a very entertaining story board.... great job. I'm going to repost
it in it's own thread. :-)

Yep, I'll bet you are...
The King Air does not run with the condition levers in the full forward
position, in fact they run on low. The condition levers are really there to
increase the RPMs on the ground to keep the generators and air-conditioning
pumping. Pull them back till the "turbine" gauge shows about 67% before
taxiing.

For taxi, I set the condition levers at about 80-85% and when I want
to start moving , a blast of the power levers to get rolling and then
back to idle power. This will give you about a 15 knot taxi speed and
if too fast a touch of brakes will slow you down.
Once at the runway, set condition levers to slow idle, and this will
slow you down for landing approach. For landing use Approach flaps,
about 850 Ft lbs of torque and pitch for 120 knots. Use pitch
adjustments to set landing spot and leave power alone once 120knots is
established. On every short final, flaps full and land.
