Although I have more money to afford something better. I like the idea of getting a lot for not a lot. I heard the 3000+ was a great OC'er and I though I would build a gaming rig around it. What I was wondering was is this true? Is it a good OC'er? And what type of results would I expect with

DFI lanparty Ultra-D
2Gigs G.Skill Extream Ram (DDR500)

Thanks

Drop your memory down to 333Mhz and your HTT down to 800Mhz. That will give you more room to up your CPU Mult.
Don’t worry about your memory not getting back to 400Mhz after increasing the CPU multiplier to the point where you get a stable bus speed (should make 2.4 with air and little to no voltage increase), the increase in CPU speed will more then make up for the slower memory.

Hey Here Is My Setups :
HTT : 800MHz
Memory 333MHz 2.5-3-3-7-2T (4x512Mb) Stock 2.6Volt
CPU : 1.45 volt , Chip :1.55 Volt
Now At 240x9=2160MHz ... Stable in Prime95 +12H But Even in 245Mhz , System Crashed in a Few Minutes...
Now Memory Works @ 200Mhz ... (Bios Said)
I Think I Reach The Wall ... But Hey , This Is Good For Me ...
Thanks For The Helps 8)
