I'm considering the purchase of a case for an Ipaq from either of the above
two companies. Their leather cases seem to feature metal clips that fit the
rear of the Ipaq - no problem there.

However, I'm concerned about the plastic clips that fit on either side of
the Ipaq - are these quite rigid?

The reason I ask is that I'm afraid that they could damage the casing of the
Ipaq by rubbing? Paranoid?

Si.

Which Ipaq do you have? Some are more resilient than others. The 4700
series, for example, has a plastic coating on the metalwork which makes it
much more scratch resistant. The RX3700 series is much different.....

I haven't held a 2210 but it appears to be the same finish as my 4715. In
that case you'll have no problems. I have had many Proporta cases and have
always been pleased with them. If you really want to splash out take a look
at vajacases.com :-)
