Forum Opinions and Experiences : Support / Hotlines issues with "clip 2" on a hp a810n

I need help with how to go about fixing a "clip 2" holding on a squar-ish metal thing to my mother board. It is complety off, not broke but just like the glue gave out or something. I have one person telling me super glue and another saying solder... but both ideas don't quite seem like they would turn out. I have a HP a810n. It's located right above the right end of my graphics card. Can anyone help? give me a direction to head in?

If you could provide a picture we might be able to help but soldering seems a little dangerous unless you have a very thin point soldering gun. you can upload the picture to http://imageshack.us/ and post the link.

You mean a heat sink?

Pics would be nice.

Yep i think it's the heatsink but without the pictures it will be hard but you can buy the new ones to replace the whole thing because I don't think glues will work good.
