Grandstream 486 doesn't seem to like sending faxes. With PSTN I get
14,400 speed but with HT486 I get 2,400 speed and it keeps
disconnecting.
Can other people report the HT486 as working to send faxes at 14,400
speed? Is it competent to do that? Do I need to change my service
provider? They told me to set all codec to PCMU and I did that.

I'd be interested to hear any responses to this as I was thinking of
plugging my fax machine into my 486. Currently it sits directly on the
Telewest line.
